Car Inspection

Fleet Inspection

Also called company car checking

Fleet inspection applies the same inspection to every vehicle in a company fleet on a schedule, so you get comparable reports rather than separate opinions. Each vehicle gets a road test, an electronic scan, a safety and condition check, and a written report. Timing depends on fleet size and where vehicles can be released, so it is arranged per vehicle. It records condition and flags safety items; repairs are quoted separately.

Signs you need this

  • No consistent record of vehicle condition across the fleet
  • Repair bills varying widely between similar vehicles
  • Drivers reporting faults that are not being tracked
  • Tyres and brakes being replaced at unpredictable intervals
  • Need for documented safety checks on company vehicles

Not all of these have to be present, and one of them on its own can mean something else entirely. That is what the diagnosis is for.

What the job includes

  • An agreed checklist applied identically to every vehicle in the fleet
  • Road test, electronic scan and safety inspection per vehicle
  • Tyre, brake and suspension condition recorded with measurements
  • A written report per vehicle plus a summary across the fleet
  • Scheduling around your operating hours to limit vehicles off the road

How we do it

  1. Agree the checklist

We set the items to be checked and recorded so every vehicle is assessed the same way and reports compare directly.

  2. Schedule the vehicles

Inspections are staggered around your operating hours so you do not lose several vehicles on the same day.

  3. Inspect each vehicle

Each one gets the same road test, module scan and lift inspection, with measurements rather than opinions recorded.

  4. Report and summarise

You receive a report per vehicle and a fleet summary showing which vehicles need attention first.

How we work

The same on every job, which is why we can write it down.

  • Diagnosis before quote

We find the fault first. A price given over the phone for a noise nobody has heard is a guess.

  • The price is agreed first

You approve the work and the cost before a spanner is picked up. Extra work means another call.

  • Parts you can check

We tell you whether a part is genuine, OEM, aftermarket or used, and what each one costs.

  • Old parts returned

Ask and we will hand back whatever we replaced. It is the simplest proof that the job was done.
