CNG/LPG Kit Inspection
Also called CNG kit checking
Many cars in Islamabad and Rawalpindi carry a gas kit fitted long after the car was built, and quality of installation varies widely. This inspection checks the cylinder and its certification date, the mounting, the high-pressure lines and fittings, the reducer, the changeover switch and the engine bay pipework, and leak tests the joints. It is an inspection and report. We do not install new kits, and a cylinder that is out of date must be replaced or removed.
Signs you need this
- Gas smell inside the cabin or boot
- Car runs poorly on gas but normally on petrol
- Cylinder date is unknown or the plate is unreadable
- Cylinder moves or rattles in the boot
- Kit was fitted by an unknown workshop and never checked
- Backfiring or hesitation when switching over to gas
Not all of these have to be present, and one of them on its own can mean something else entirely. That is what the diagnosis is for.

How we do it
Identify the cylinder
The plate is read for manufacture and test dates, and the cylinder body is checked for corrosion and impact damage.
Check the mounting
Brackets, bolts and load spreading are inspected, because a loose cylinder becomes dangerous in a collision.
Leak test the system
Joints, valve, lines and reducer are tested with detection solution or a gas detector at working pressure.
Report the findings honestly
You receive a plain report on what is safe, what needs correction, and whether the cylinder is still in date.
