Also called puncture on the road, tyre change help
Flat tyre assistance comes to you and either fits your spare wheel or repairs the puncture on site where the damage allows. It is for when you have no spare, no tools, or the car is somewhere you should not be kneeling beside it. If you are on a fast road or the flat is on the traffic side of the car, do not attempt the change yourself: get clear of the vehicle and call.
Signs you need this

- Sudden bang followed by the car pulling hard to one side

- Tyre pressure warning with the car feeling unstable
- You have a spare but no jack or wheel brace
Not all of these have to be present, and one of them on its own can mean something else entirely. That is what the diagnosis is for.

A tread puncture may be sealed on site, while a sidewall cut or a shredded tyre means the spare goes on.
Fit and torque
The spare is checked for pressure, fitted and the nuts torqued in the correct sequence, not just nipped up.
Plan the follow-up
We tell you the spare's speed limit if it is a space saver, and whether the damaged tyre is worth repairing.
