Towing & Recovery Coordination
Also called towing or lifter arrangement
When a car cannot safely be driven, we coordinate recovery with towing operators rather than operating our own fleet. We arrange the right vehicle for your car, including a flatbed where a hybrid, an automatic or an all-wheel-drive must not be towed on its wheels, and give you the operator's arrival estimate. The recovery charge belongs to the operator and is separate from any repair. If you are in an unsafe position, call rather than waiting on a form.
Signs you need this
- Car will not start and cannot be revived on site
- Gearbox will not engage or the car will not move
- Wheel, suspension or steering damage after an impact
- Engine stopped with a loud noise or with no oil pressure
- Hybrid or automatic car that must not be towed on its wheels
Not all of these have to be present, and one of them on its own can mean something else entirely. That is what the diagnosis is for.

Get clear and call
Move yourself and passengers away from traffic, then call with the location, car model and what has happened.
Choose the right lift
Hybrids, automatics and all-wheel-drive cars need a flatbed, because dragging driven wheels can cause real damage.
Arrange and update
The operator is booked and we pass you the arrival estimate, then update you if traffic changes it.
Receive and diagnose
The car is taken in at the workshop, the condition noted on arrival, and diagnosis begins once you approve it.
